History and Facts

At Keene Elementary, we are building a strong foundation for success in academics by developing core skills in reading, writing, math, and science.  Our educational environment is rich with hands-on experiences, cooperative learning, and opportunities for creativity and inquiry. 

We want our students to grow not only as readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists, but as leaders, thinkers, and communicators.  By focusing on the Keene 22, our students build on their character by making positive choices, being respectful with their actions, committed to their academic responsibilities, and true to the values that transcend from Sparks to house members.

Our staff sets high expectations and focuses on every child, every need, every day so that our littlest learners will achieve the greatest gains academically, socially, and emotionally.
